i can confirm the chats I’m in which include renowned security specialists - people who actually advise on how to protect your comms from authoritarian dictators for a living - also think this outburst of paranoia about Signal is really weird and unwarranted
every Signal chat of laypeople is losing their minds over the wildest opsec advice imaginable and every Signal chat of security professionals is like “dude wtf”

The vast majority of problems can be avoided by not being foolish, being aware of your surroundings, and using common sense

Say it loud and clear: every member of Congress who votes to continue funding ICE is an accessory to murder.

Congress could stop this if they chose to do so.
Congress has a responsibility to uphold the constitution.
Impeach and remove the traitor pee resident, who continues to commit crimes and encourage others to do so every day.

If DeWine supports Haitians in Ohio, it’s time for him to consult his god, understand he will never be president but he can be defender of free people and America in a way most presidents will never be, and do everything in his power to keep the ravenous monsters who run his party out of his state
DeWine has been a big supporter of the Haitian immigrants in Springfield. He has provided funds for support services and housing improvements all along. He is a traditional Catholic along the lines of the current Pope and emphasizes charity. He is also from a neighboring town to Springfield.

here’s the thing: there is no way Alberta separatists win a referendum to secede, but if they hold one and get 25-30% of the vote, Trump will claim that there was election fraud as a pretext to harm Canada “in defense” of Albertan sovereignty or whatever.

No surprise here given that Oakland has been performing much better on housing starts than San Francisco. But neither city can solve a regional housing crisis on its own, which is why San Francisco and other NIMBY jurisdictions need to be compelled to build. www.sfchronicle.com/realestate/a...
The gap between S.F. and Oakland rents swells to highest level in years
Rent prices in San Francisco and Oakland usually trend together. That’s not happening right now.

the Democrats should announce that they will not renew any contracts with XAI, Palantir, Tesla, or SpaceX and bankrupt the fucking tech right. announce that you have the votes to ban crypto too.

Wow, the White House is so shaken by the turn in the public mood that they thought Chuck Schumer might actually rise up and "seize this moment" to get meaningful concessions.

That's how panicked they are. They thought Chuck Schumer would do something.
“An administration official gave away the game to Punchbowl News, admitting that these “de-escalatory measures” are about placating Senate Democrats so they don’t seize this moment to demand restrictions on ICE as part of any government funding package.”

Donald Trump Is Frightened
Trump wants to appear eager to minimize out-of-control clashes between government militias and protesters. But he doesn’t want to stop the things causing those clashes in the first place.

Articles of impeachment, hold up business, stop voting for his nominees, make public statements that aren’t piles of weak shit. For a start.

It’s weird how we’ve seen GOP wield influence out of power multiple times but somehow Democrats are just widdle beans.
Yes, the people who were voted completely and totally out of political power aren't doing...what exactly?
Be specific. No hand-wavey bullshit.

@senateDems Not only conditions, but cut funds to ICE. It's clear that the Administration cannot attain their goal without massive violation of Constitutional and human rights. They aren't capable, because the goal is too big and they are trying to do it too fast.

It can't be done.

Too many Dem voters are just itching to tell you why something won't work. I understand why the elected Dems do it. It's just self-preservation because they don't have any real principles.

But if you're an average citizen you're allowed to dream big. You don't need to preemptively accept defeat.

Yesterday I had someone write "The Dems are in the minority. The GOP don’t need their votes to pass any bills."

But the DHS bill passed last week 220-207, with 7 Dems voting in favor. Massie voted against it. If those Dems had voted no it wouldn’t have passed. You never know what can happen.
