I think I lost like 15 pounds this year, and I swear 90% of it is because I can't eat out without planning it to some degree.
Like, I can't just pick up a burger and fries on the way anymore because there's only a handful of places I can even go to and none of them are open after 10 pm.

My chocolate crinkle cookies failed this year. I should not have tried a different recipe. The dough was just too dry.
The thumbprint cookies came out okay. They are kind of a sandy texture but the flavor is nice and the jam holds them together.
