not many people seem to know this, but the entire purpose of skill-based matchmaking is to keep the high-skilled everyday players away from the mid and low-skilled casuals. because the casuals are the majority of the playerbase and the majority of the purchasers.

problem: some maps are awful to play on for one side or the other, and people use map offerings to attempt to mostly play on the maps that advantage them.
solution: make the maps more playable for everyone
