I just ran One Battle After Another on 70mm and in case it's not common knowledge I want to make sure audiences know that those reels are fucking HUGE and HEAVY (like 40-50 lbs) and we have to lift them over our heads and angle them onto a thin shaft without dropping them on ourselves/the projector

On this 45th anniversary of FRIDAY THE 13TH, I think it’s time we admit that Pamela Voorhees’ cable knit sweater is iconic, albeit wildly underappreciated in the pantheon of slasher apparel. Anyone can wear a mask, but causing mayhem looking like a Land’s End catalog model is a singular diva move.

If you still have power and internet, I highly recommend rewatching late seasons of SCANDAL to numb the mind while offering distraction. Every series regular is a murderer and everyone's having sex with everyone else and The Fate of the Nation is at stake. It's very very smooth-brained.

It’s really pretty cool that one thing you can do to support people you like is ask your local library to get their book because it doesn’t cost you anything, it helps them, and the librarian gets to know someone actually wants to read a book and not just use the computer for Roblox
