this is the crux of it. it was truest, perhaps, back in 2010, but it is as true now as it ever was that being fluent in Apocalypse World is like seeing the matrix of modern RPG design.
Whether you back Apocalypse World for not, it's going to impact your gaming. But in backing it, you'll get to see it coming.
