If, like Gimenez, you can’t see the administration’s purpose through the lens of white supremacy then you probably can fool yourself into thinking it’s about deporting “criminals not grandmas.”

Early last year I approached Rep Gimenez with an offer to work together to protect immigrants in his district & mine. He rudely told me he had his own strategy & walked off.
Apparently his strategy was to do nothing for over a year to actually stop this.

I gotta say, who the fuck cares what the players think about the halftime show choice?
Chotiner is really good, obviously, and it’s sometimes best to get people to just lay things bare and let the audience decide. But in this case I feel like the sarcasm (undetected by the interview subject, it appears), kind of leaves this piece lacking.

I’d find the consistency, almost ritualistic humiliation of Tony Dokoupil hard to watch if he wasn’t so willingly taking it
This isn’t a dunk but I’m starting to think the chatter about OBAA being mid is a coordinated Oscar campaign by Sinners or Marty Supreme

I don’t share JD Vance’s view that we should “normalize Indian hate” and I think the fact that he’s going to have another kid he hates is troubling
