‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

Section 504 prohibits discrimination against disabled people & guarantees equal access to anything (services, programs, buildings, etc.) that receives federal funding. It paved the way for the ADA. The sit-in that got it passed is an extraordinary moment in US history.

When we ask staff to mask, we aren’t “entitled”. We’re advocating for our lives. We’re trying to protect our baseline. We’re asking for the respect we deserve.
We can’t “just stay home” from the hospital. Masks should be mandatory.

Heck, wear a mask as often as you can in public. At stores, on buses, and whatever. Not only is it protection against airborne hazards (not just germs!) but it also helps those of us who MUST protect our lungs not be singled out.
