Hi friends! As you know, we’re in a long cold stretch of winter. It’s warmed up a tad but the low on Friday is currently 14 degrees. We go out whenever the Metro shelter is open to give rides & supplies to our neighbors. We go through a lot & could use a restock!

This is so frustrating 😭 thank you for advocating on this. We’ve got individuals & caseworkers all over scrambling to try to make it there/get people there and there’s so much conflicting or missing info. This is so unfair to people who NEED this the most & could have easily been avoided.

Angus & I stopped by Plaza Mariachi tonight (a springtime Friday night with beautiful weather). I needed to buy some jicama at the mercado but it was closed up early. The whole place was ghost town-ish. Nearby taquerias & taco trucks had maybe one or two people there. It was eerie & heartbreaking. 🦞
