I don't know. I still haven't seen Georges Niang photoshopped into a Celtics uniform. I am very worried about Bluesky and the NBA.
Another very big indicator night when it comes to sports on Bluesky.

The NBA Draft is traditionally social media cocaine. I'll be curious to see what kind of traction it gets here.

Oops. I forgot they said I shouldn’t tell anybody yet. My bad.

On what planet is the future location of the most boring annual “event” in U.S. professional sports of even mild importance? It doesn’t even generate tourist dollars.
And this collection of clowns?
No wonder I stopped watching the NFL when I stopped getting paid to watch it.

I hate when someone says "forecasted" instead of "forecast."
Yes, I know it's not grammatically incorrect.
But it sounds dumb.

Such sad news. John was a fantastic, insightful writer who wrote one of the most important sports books of the last 50 years in Season on the Brink.

But more than that, he was such a warm, welcoming, positive guy. And people gravitated toward him in every room he entered.

RIP my friend

Equally entertaining was when he popped up in the middle of the Clippers' huddle at one point.

"That’s how it was for the likes of Allen Iverson, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Bill Walton and Larry Bird — all elite players who had their warts."

And a couple others Sam mentions later 😳

I mean, this is the league that had to stop testing for weed when they went into the bubble. Lol.
Luka Dončić's Dallas detractors predict his basketball demise, highlighting a health history that, as some see it, will likely lead to catastrophe in the next five years or so.

Tuesday, he fired back, writes @samamick.bsky.social.

After watching the Rising Stars games and getting the concept, I think it has potential. Especially that Rising-OG game. No way it won't be played hard.
I’m setting myself up to get hurt tomorrow night but I really think the new NBA All-Star format might be fun.
The NBA all-star weekend just isnt the same anymore.

The only thing I care to watch is the 3-point contest
