ComicsSky, I need some help:

Recently I remembered reading a unique vampire comic, but I don't remember its name and I haven't been able to find it again.

It starred a female publisher or editor who killed people who wrote bad vampire books via a stake through the heart...

This is one of three major Federal actions against healthcare for trans people this week. While the two bills passed by the House are not expected to pass the Senate, all three of these actions are heartbreaking to see. Both House bills would have failed if the Democratic caucus had held together.
A second national anti-trans healthcare bill has passed the US House, a medicaid ban for trans youth. 4 Democrats crossed party lines to vote for it. Henry Cueller (TX), Vincente Gonzalez (TX), Don Davis (NC), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA). It is not expected to get through the Senate filibuster.

Fuck all of you saying "this is inevitable" or "it's here deal with it" or even "it's fine"/"it's not a big deal". Be antihuman on your own time. This is a moveable needle. It's ruining lives (mine included already), ruining the environment, ruining art and creativity, isn't needed and isn't wanted.

James Gunn ruined the DCU in the same way that the polio vaccine ruined medical science- he didn't and anybody who tells you that he did is either a grifter or a crackpot
James Gunn has reinvented the DCU with Superman. With Supergirl on the horizon, it's time to ask...did he make things better or worse?

I remain unconvinced that anyone on the planet (outside of the United States) views Donald Trump's destruction of the East Wing, in a naked attempt to further his corrupt, fascist makeover of the United States, consolidate power, and signal that he doesn't intend to leave office... is a good thing.

There's a gag at the end of "MARS ATTACKS," parodying "ID4," where one of the survivors muses (in the ruins of D.C.) that post-invasion humanity could rebuild better by "Living in teepees instead;" and I feel like so many people still don't get that the movie is making fun of them, too... 🤷‍♂️
It is also unambiguously true that the White House is a symbol of oppression and suffering for a massive percentage of the world

Not my business as a Canadian but I'd have thought that, "We're not going to bulldoze the White House" would be a widely acceptable answer to, "Well, what are DEMOCRATS gonna build in its place if they retake power?"

ESPECIALLY given that Trump doesn't even know what he's gonna build yet either!

I don’t think Larian understood that when they casually talk about their use of genAI it wasn’t spoken into a board room or a zoom call full of people thinking about numbers, it was to a host of fans who looked to them as an example of humanity and art persisting in spite of things like that.

this is the unspoken but absolutely clear argument at hand.
That’s the thing man. If they are to be taken at their word the only takeaway is that there should be no black people in any job any other white person wants. One quick Google search for any of these jobs would show there are usually one or two minorities are best in a unit of 20 or 30 or more.
UAlbany, one of those, NY state universities, has been hovering around 4 percent tenure track Black faculty since ever. I am THE Black tenure track political scientists. These folks are just little liars.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

“Architect backs Fascism out of support for aesthetics” is an Onion headline
"Unlike the left and especially unlike liberals, the right has assembled for itself an aesthetic program, an answer to what the future should look like, slopified as it may be. Indeed, like all fascists, its broader program is to aestheticize politics itself." It's a good article.

longstanding theory on this is that people who know the applicant that they don't want to hire has racial resentment offer "wish i could've hired you, but they made me hire a black woman instead!" as a let-them-down-easy cope rather than admit to them that they just didn't want to hire them.
