A year ago I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. They found fibroids and endometriosis and removed those too.
It changed my life.
I cannot tell you how much pain I was in, all the time.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's son was pulled over by ICE and forced to prove he is an American.
Two options:
1) ICE deliberately targeted him.
2) ICE is stopping all non-White people without any probable cause and forcing them to prove they are citizens.
Hard to say which option is scarier.

The devastation I feel about this attack on science in particular is hard to cope with. It’s like watching my dad die all over again. I would do anything to spare someone a death via pancreatic cancer.

Even if you're stupid and vicious enough to think foreigners shouldn't have the same rights as real human beings, you should try and remember that you only have rights if everyone has rights. Unless you're naive enough to think this is where it will stop, and governments won't remove your rights too

I keep thinking of Beth Upton today, who won against an absolutely foul, racist bigot, and should be having the best day, but is still being monstered by our entire media, for the crime of merely existing as her authentic self and doing a job in the NHS that helps people, all day every day.

No she didn't. NHS FIFE harassed her, not Upton.
