Far-right groups are co-opting the aesthetics of the Crusades for their own objectives, transforming an obsession with feudal justice into a campaign for a White Christian nation.
Why We Should All Be Worried About "Crusadercore"
This online trend equips young, White men with a historically bastardized visual lexicon — one that gives new credence and religious authority to far-right bigotry.

I have no intention of stopping the country of origin check.
People say boycotts don't work, meanwhile Canada is out here putting labels on every single item in the grocery store so you know who to buy and shutting down factories like they're millenials killing the diamond industry
so much winning

I still remember men. My father's age being vocally upset that extreme drunkenness was no longer a valid defense for beating up your wife in Canada
Until the mid-1970’s, a man could not be convicted of rape in New York State based solely on the testimony of the woman he raped. A second witness was required because the female rape victim was deemed unreliable.

Feminism has not failed women.

I've said it a nauseating amount of times, but I am still 100% sure Doug Ford will get his casino in Toronto.
Use it lose it. Toronto has never been serious about doing something more with Exhibition Place but Doug Ford is circling now. Urgent 🚨 but also an opportunity w coming FIFA attn to show off some innovation & Indy race gone = more flexibility. My @torontostar-rss.bsky.social column.
Shawn Micallef: Use it or lose it: Doug Ford’s new law is a wake-up call for Toronto to come up with fresh ideas for Exhibition Place — and fast
Now that the pressure is on, we should think big about what the site could be used for.

Translating from the US, this argument is a powerful one against the Canada Post privatization proponents that stand to gain billions.

Canada needs less pipelines and more mail.
"the USPS is a miracle. it's in the constitution. for the price of a single stamp you can send a letter across the country, from Hawaii to Maine. Trump is trying to take that away from you. He's attacking Christmas cards and wedding invitations. It's un-American and it has to stop."
