I'm told that Roger Marshall is a medical doctor, like with a degree and everything, and yet every single time he opens his mouth to discuss health care it's like they pulled a random guy out of the beer line at a Royals game.

The fact that we already have Health Savings Accounts and the most marketized health care system in the world, and it is also the most expensive system does not seem to put a dent in these guy's theories of health economics

fwiw, the groups challenging the executive order basically agreed with the administration that the court should take up birthright citizenship now.

I think the greater issue is, as always, corruption in leadership. Jeffries is powerful enough to stop progressives from doing it because he can deny committee seats, but he won't deny a corporate democrat because their big donors will pay for the seat. story as old as the time.
