Blowing snow on the prairies, initially hard to see but once you do it's everywhere across the image on the left. Zooming out, you see it's mainly on the flattest land; much less sign of it on patches of hummocky stagnant ice terrain, though still very low-relief. Late November, western Minnesota.

Oh goodness yes, this is what living with an anxiety disorder is like, because my 3-year-old girl yells a lot louder than other people's.

It's been very helpful to me to learn to love her, recognize that she means well and isn't always wrong, and sometimes give her small harmless things.

insane local news just dropped. i've lived in a part of KC for ~decade and it's been an inside joke with friends and service workers that the local biz/party district is ran by a cartel of biz owners who bully out new ventures and replace them with generic dive bars for white suburbanites.

The friendly local void boi escape artist (not one of my crew) practicing his caroling visits for the season
Brick and siding entryway to a condo with a long side window, decorated with large primary color holiday lights outlining it, and the door. There's a sleek void boi looking in the window, trying work the Poor Cold Waif vibe, despite being nearly iridescent with good health, and the hint of a demanding tail tip getting ready to tap-tap about the substandard service (No One is Paying Attention to Him!). He does this to upset one of my voids, which gets my attention, so I will walk him home to use my opposable thumbs and let him back into his place. He'll tell his younger void boi brother about his adventures...who will in no way be tempted to join in the escape escapades. Tl:DR there are signs this is the local cat lady's place.

I've been a bit unwell and out of it for the past few days so I am behind on #ArtAdventCalendar and so to make up for it, I'll include three pieces today; three times I drew my little guy, Static Void, who is always ready when I don't know what to draw.
An amorphous, inky creature with a staticy outline who somewhat resembles a black cat in winter except its ears look like hands. It restures with an actual hand towards a jagged fissure in the side of the page. Its eyes are wide and curious or alarmed. Ink drawing of the inky static creature who resembles a cat usually but this time it is hunched in on itself a bit and looks more like a bean or gourd. It sits on top of an old television, acting as the antenna. Not doing a very good job, as the screen is all static in rows. It gestures with its ear-hands and looks to the left, from which direction a strong diagonal of light is falling, but you can't see what has the inky creature's attention. Ink drawing of a catlike, inky static creature with handlike ears. It is reclining on a ledge with one clawlike hand dangling. It stares wide eyed at you.

In her car, she followed federal immigration agents from south Minneapolis to a park-and-ride lot by the Minneapolis VA Medical Center’s light rail stop. That’s when her car was boxed in by four ICE vehicles and surrounded by mostly masked federal agents. One agent told her she can’t be “chasing” them around the city. She replied that she wasn’t chasing. The agent said she was breaking the law by following them, and that he would arrest her if she didn’t stop “impeding.” Minnesota law requires vehicles to travel 500 feet behind emergency vehicles when they’re responding to an emergency, although Webb said the ICE vehicles hadn’t activated emergency lights. The agent told her, “You can not do this.” Webb insisted, “Yes, I can. Yes, I can.”
