The 'majority' of Edinburgh's 15 private schools have lost pupils after VAT changed, reports The Times. It also gives the aggregate totals - 33 secondary school pupils and 18 primary school pupils. The average is 3 pupils from each private school to date.
There are around 10k private school kids in Edinburgh.
51 have moved to state schools in January.
As I've repeatedly said the effects of VAT on fees are going to be minimal.
