The good: I start my new W4 tomorrow.
The bad: My new gig pays *monthly* at the end of each month and I'm starting at the beginning of the period, so I wont get paid until New Years.
There's 12% or $8407 left to close out this ENTIRE campaign. I REALLY need a hand to hold onto the gig.

People really think the primary connection between disability & SW is disabled clients. But a disproportionate number of SW are disabled ourselves. You only don't know that bc it doesn't fit the stereotypes that claim disabled people aren't sexy & SW all look the same

can’t stop thinking abt that tiktok of that black woman in ACTIVE LAVOR getting ignored checked into the ER meanwhile my white ass went to the er a few days ago with “maybe a crohn’s stricture?” and got triaged into a private room w/ bathroom immediately & a CT scan in less than like. an hour

So 💔 & angry… that Alice is gone, Teen Vogue is gone, community care is all but gone, but dangerous infectious diseases are still being given red carpet treatment. The disability, Long Covid, & ME communities keep losing people, & it doesn’t have to be this way. We can do better. We must.
