it's just pretty plain that, at minimum, liberal governments are far more willing - and wanting - to deploy state power, state violence, against any group opposed to the status quo from the left than they are to the same from the right. one group is clearly considered more tolerable.

It's hard to tell what's actually happening in the video that purports to show Epstein's suicide but 1) the video is hosted at justice.gov and 2) it's in a directory called Data Set 8, which would be the next release.
It looks fake to me, but that doesn't explain why it's on the real DOJ site.
