Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

So we’re just announcing foreign strikes and kidnappings of foreign leaders on social media now? No Congress. No explanation.

This is madness.

Yup good chart! Real median income hit a record in 2024 (latest data available), real average hourly earnings are now 3.4% higher than in December 2019 and are rising ~1% per year, etc.
In theory, the so-called affordability crisis has improved since January 2023... real disposable personal income has been positive YoY for almost three years now FRED

The world’s largest accounting body will end online exams due to rampant cheating using AI tools.

I think this will be the endgame for any entity that wants to preserve the integrity of its testing processes including job interviews. It’s too difficult to outpace AI-based cheating at this point.

My two cents: Anyone who has worked with data knows that analytics involves a lot of repetitive manual tasks—essentially the intellectual, well-paid equivalent of wood chopping. In the short run, automating those functions will require organizational changes, but we'll get used to it.
