Found an additional graphic that gets even more of these quotes together.

I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.

You won't be able to talk to a customer service rep any more, and the chatbot you'll talk to will be less capable; you'll simply give up on getting the service you would be getting previously. This will be regarded by the business as a cost saving. That's the most likely economic impact of chatbots.

I maintain that this is the moment a lot of folks realise that they can just do direct deals with porting houses and marketing teams.

Publishers got used to low risk thanks to platform deals and crowdfunding. They need to remember that ‘absorbs risk’ is their primary non-replaceable role tout suite
"we shouldn't have to work for free on a game until it's nearly-done enough to get funding" and "it's the only thing you can really do so you should do it if you want to make games" are both true imo and it's shit but what else is there really to do that isn't just give up

This is the most compelling ”dudes rock” story I’ve encountered in a minute
It took me months, about 495 rides, recovering from a shattered right foot and hacking a folding scooter, but I finally own a Nintendo Switch 2 using points obtained from Citi Bike. Afterwards, it left me questioning the very nature of work. For @aftermath.site.

instead of discord, use cohost
What's your favorite type of take
- Instead of discord, use IRC, it works perfectly
- Instead of discord, use a matrix-compliant homeserver with a linux desktop "Room client" using proper App Auth Gateway API
- Instead of discord, use Nufrigesto, it's uncensorable-by-design with NFT PFP integration

The creator of this image browsed to the onion, found the article, inspected the element, and changed the text. Then they pasted in eggbug and edited the original image to put some of the original picture in front and some behind.

This doesn’t happen by not caring and it’s why we’re gonna win

there's kind of an interesting inverse, too - abstract art is "signal in the shape of noise". It's interesting to reflect on how some people get really annoyed at / disrespectful of abstract art. I wonder how those people feel about LLM-generated text. I wonder if there's a pattern there.

So, this is a long shot, but: I'm looking to hire a developer/programmer for my non-profit arts org for ongoing part-time maintenance and troubleshooting work on a proprietary database that's coded primarily in VB[dot]net. (I know, long story, it is what it is.) Would appreciate leads/reposts!

Silksong nsfw artists appearing at the top of a hill holding this image aloft like the fiery sword of Michael
Spiders capable of climbing vertical walls often have specialized furry 'toes' called 'claw tufts’: where thousand of microscopic hairs (setules) protrude from each hair shaft.

This allows the spider to use Van der Waals' force to adhere to any surface. It is also, objectively, cute.
The science of spider paws
Pictures of spider paws have, of late, become popular on social media, eliciting the type of gushing – So cute! – usually reserved for kittens.

For the past few Bandcamp Fridays I’ve been a little self conscious posting about it, since I haven’t released any new music in awhile. However! People are always super cool and nice and supportive, and I’m very grateful 💚

So pls check out my music. It may not be new, but I’m still very proud of it

This is the most concise way I’ve seen it put, and obvi the push for AI (but also the decades-long push to devalue humanities relative to STEM) is in no small part intended to exacerbate 2) so they’ll accept any old garbage in place of actual spark
Pretty much any work that relies on creative skill is taking a bad hit; too many people look at it and think, “that’s not hard, *I* can do that” - so (a) they don’t value it, and (b) they can’t tell the difference between good and bad quality. As a result, they’re happy to settle for “cheap.”
So many industries and career paths are going this way

Has anyone found a mobile app/tool shader editor, ideally for Godot shaders? I’d love to mess with shader development more but I frequently don’t have access to a computer to do it on
