I’m a trained social worker. I worked with cases of CSA and other horrifying traumas. I didn’t learn til 6 months before I burnt out how dangerous and cumulative vicarious and secondary trauma are.

I heard that Chris Rea passed away today. One of those artists that Dad loved and who became a favourite of mine by extension. On The Beach was a staple on the stereo and at the cottage when we were growing up.
Also wrote the best Christmas song out there, don’t @ me.
