Labour’s Employment Rights Bill - a rare effort to address inequality of power.

“A large majority of voters backing Nigel Farage also want stronger working rights. Yet he and his MPs voted against every item in the bill.”
But of course they did.

It’s under fire from left and right – but Labour’s workers' rights bill is a huge achievement | Polly Toynbee
It makes no sense for union leaders to cry betrayal when it will be their members who benefit from these sorely needed reforms, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee

1/2 The Ebay advert with the guy with new speakers is really annoying. You're being a dick blasting out music and you lack the self awareness to realise that you're doing it, even when someone comes round and asks you politely to pack it in.

Tim Davies getting the sack for not being right wing enough is legitimately hilarious given he was handpicked by the last Tory Govt for the role and has spent his entire time at the beebs pandering to Reform. The Labour govt will definitely pick somebody even more right wing.

My attendance record in the European Parliament was the 4th worst out of 751 MEPs, yet I managed to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation.
Thankfully this is of no interest to the media.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

And again the electoral commission found that there was such rampant election fraud in the vote leave campaign that if the vote was binding, it would have been annulled and had to run again. Yet somehow a non binding vote became the will of the people and had to be enacted
