Amazing example of creative protest from DRC, where artists are drawing attention to poor government policies on recycling and waste disposal, through wild costumes and public performances. 🤩

Good news story to cheer you up!

she suggested treating the last day of every month as a mini New Year's with one small new goal

Rookie numbers but another term of this government and that'll change
Worldwide mortality experience since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2024) shows excess deaths over that period in almost every country measured. Australia (+6%) was below average, and New Zealand (+0.1%) the lowest we measured.

COVID is a systemic disease that can harm the brain, heart, immune system and more.

Every reinfection increases the risk of Long COVID, chronic illness, disability and even death.

If people understood the real danger, they’d take prevention seriously instead of accepting repeated infections.

White people, we must stop leading with our feelings and listen logically.

But I am a good person, we cry.

To be the result of white supremacy is not the issue. We all are.

To be aware of systemic racism and how we benefit is a good start.

These proposed local government reforms are being reported as the end of Regional Councils but actually they're probably the end of a lot of rural and smaller district councils in New Zealand. Not sure what I mean?

Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.
