When you think about it, there are laws against texting and driving. Trying to navigate a touchscreen while driving isn't that far from the same thing.
I have a 2012 Ford Fusion with regular buttons and my wife has a 2014 MDX with touchscreen. I hate the touchscreen when I drive it. When I'm in the market for a new car in the future I will avoid any car that uses mainly touchscreens

The CA DMV won their lawsuit vs Tesla for FSD fraud & will suspend Tesla's sales & output in CA for 30 days.
The profit impact (<$1B) is nothing. The legal precedent is huge: FSD is not "self-driving" & Tesla lies.

Like with all the other punishments for $TSLA (fines for pollution, for example) or Elon (twitter sitter for securities fraud), this is basically a slap on the wrist. Elon and $TSLA will continue to pull this shit until someone slaps a SERIOUS punishment on them.

This is the stuff that bothers me about this beta testing.
You're not just putting yourself at risk when you sign up to be a beta tester. You're putting everyone else on the road at risk as well.
