“You’re banned, you can’t chant that, you’re nicked for holding a sign, you’re kids are poorer, you’re colder, you have to have an ID card and the racists have legitimate concerns in our island of strangers… now vote for us or Farage wins.”

🚨New report: how the fossil fuel industry duped successive UK governments into pumping money into costly CCS schemes to ensure continued reliance on oil and gas.

📢 🚨New Report - How the UK oil and gas industry spent 15 years pushing for subsidies & incentives for Carbon Capture and Storage rather than regulatory accountability or science-based emissions reductions; maintaining a funding pipeline for a technology yet to deliver on its promises 👇
The UK Oil and Gas Industry's Advocacy on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
New analysis from InfluenceMap suggests that for more than 15 years, the oil and gas industry has systematically pushed the UK government to adopt a costly, emissions-intensive energy policy agenda de...

The trouble is is that Jenrick is a whole different level of ghastly. Really is a race to the bottom

She's utterly useless.

Among the worse interviews I've seen a politician give. There is no way Badenoch can (or should) survive until May.

- Do you admire Nigel Farage?
- On what basis?
- Do you admire him?
- I don't understand your question.
- What do you think of him?
- Why don't you ask me about Ed Davey?" 😱 ~AA

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

I say this with the bluntness it requires: they will get people murdered if this continues. This is not just populism anymore either: it’s completely unhinged and a deliberate choice that does endanger lives. I am not saying this lightly at all.
Screenshot of an Express article; it says: Robert Jenrick lists 30 'activist judges' he vows to axe in war on UK's open border

In a bold move, Robert Jenrick is set to unveil a controversial plan targeting what he calls 'activist' judges, at the Conservative Party conference.

Thing is, if you’re a lawyer and a Tory - maybe you’re even a Tory peer - and you fail to speak out very clearly and publicly against this stuff, you’re signalling for all to see that you’re at best comfortable with fascism and the destruction of the rule of law

We've already seen judges and lawyers being targeted as "enemies of the people". This increases risk of threats/attacks, while undermining judiciary as a whole. Couple it with Tory plans to scrap immigration tribunals and legal aid for people seeking asylum and it shows utter contempt for the law.

About to defect to Reform, are we? Or straight to Robinson’s lot? Mind-boggling to see what is becoming of the Conservative Party which put Mosley in his place and threw Powell out after the “Rivers of Blood” speech…

This is the home of Diane Goodstein, a federal judge who ruled against Trump last month.

Members of her family were still inside, but survived by jumping out windows.

Just yesterday Stephen Miller claimed left wing judges were terrorists & state power was needed to stop them.

The closer than the Tories get to Reform, the more it makes sense for Labour to leave them to it and head back towards the centre. Stop bashing immigrants 24/7 and concentrate on the important stuff.

Jenrick is as repellent as the Fag Ash Fuhrer. Changing leader to him will do nothing for the Tories' prospects.

Jenrick allies are collecting no confidence letters from Conservative MPs calling for party leader Kemi Badenoch to quit,

Hard to work out the strategy of these people. If it’s to copy Reform policies to lure back voters, it won’t work - they’ll go for the real deal.
Tory plot to replace Kemi Badenoch with Robert Jenrick as soon as next month
Up to a dozen supporters of the shadow justice secretary are said to have penned letters to use against Kemi Badenoch when the time is right
