A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

I am absolutely shocked by the footage in Minneapolis today of an ICE agent shooting a woman point-blank and the dehumanizing false statements given by the Administration in the aftermath. We demand an investigation and that Secretary Noem to appear in front of Congress immediately.

From the summary:
When the opinions are read together, four justices (Boomgaarden, Fox, Jarosh, and Fenn) voted to strike down the 2023 abortion laws. Justice Gray voted to uphold the laws. In a footnote, the majority highlighted the State's argument that the language of Article 1, Section 38 was only meant to deal with Obamacare concerns, not abortion choices. The ourt recognized it cannot add words to the Wyoming Constitution, that's not its job. But lawmakers could ask Wyoming voters to consider a constitutional amendment that would more clearly address this issue.

After his group was banned in the 40s, he got very excited about the founding of Apartheid South Africa. So he moved there
The Technate Technocracy looked for large areas with bountiful resources to enable self sufficiency. A Technate is practically a large body of land governed by a technocracy that only needs minimal trade. 291 Technocrats had a strong belief in continentalism. 51] Scott mentioned that in the case of forming a North American Technate would be like forming a federation or union under the guidance of technocracy. Areas engaging in continentalism are the U.S.S.R and the European Union. Elon Musk's grandfather, the late Joshua Haldeman, spent his time ranting about minority groups he didn't like, speculating about a global conspiracy led by shadowy figures (read: Jewish people), and joining the cause of technocracy. According to a deep dive from the Atlantic on the life of Haldeman, the Canadian chiropractor was a "radical conspiracy theorist" who spent the beginning of his career as part of a group known as "Technocracy Incorporated." The movement had a bizarre set of principles: They believed that the world should be run by a totalitarian regime of engineers and scientists based in North America; that these tech overlords would solve all of society's problems; and that people only had to work 20 years before retiring. The organization also referred to people as numbers (apparently, Musk's grandfather was 10450-1) and sometimes added Xs to their names. Followers donned identical gray clothing and cars and greeted each other with special salutes, the Atlantic found. A newspaper cited by the magazine said the group gave off "the tone of an incipient Fascist movement." Canada eventually banned the party after it opposed the country's involvement in World War Il and considered it and its members a threat to national security. Haldeman was arrested and convicted for his participation, the Atlantic reported. This kickstarted his involvement in other movements, including Canada's Social Credit Party, which espoused baseless conspiracy theories about Jewish people. The party came to be widely criticized for its blatant antisemitism. Haldeman, who became the SCP national chair, took it upon himself to defend the party's I studied across hundreds of documents from the time, including newspaper clips, self-published manuscripts, university archives, and private correspondence. Haldeman believed that apartheid South Africa was destined to lead "White Christian Civilization" in its fight against the "International Conspiracy" of Jewish bankers and the "hordes of Coloured people" they controlled. "Instead of the Government's attitude keeping me out of South Africa, it had precisely the opposite effect-it encouraged me to come and settle here," he told a reporter for the South African newspaper Die Transvaler shortly after his arrival. The far-right Afrikaner newspaper treated Haldeman's arrival as a PR victory for apartheid. ("PRAISES ACTION OF NATIONALIST PARTY REGIME: Canadian Politician Settles in South Africa," the headline read.) Later in SA, Haldeman wrote a regular newspaper column. Haldeman blamed the "collectivist-internationalist" conspiracy-"from Kennedy to Kenyatta" —for "centralized health schemes" that include national health insurance and various pharmaceuticals including fluoride in the water, another conspiracy), all of which he considered "anti-Christian infringements on human liberties." If some people were not alarmed by all of this, he wrote, it was because of mind control. "When a Christian subscribes to this, it is the result of the concentrated, intentional brain-washing done by the International Conspiracy." Submitting to national health care was one way the conspirators were allowing "Black or Coloured political puppets" to take "control of responsible White people." The Conspiracy, he warned, controls universities, medical schools, and even textbooks. "The Conspiracy feels that any medical intervention, so long as it is in mass, is a desirable procedure." Above all, "The promoters of World Government have always been behind mass vaccination programmes."
