Can't believe I'm doing this again but:
I don't believe the "using AI as a placeholder" excuse studios make. Placeholders are supposed to be bright and ugly so you remember to change it later.
"Placeholder AI" is being used so that if they don't remember to change it, it's "good enough" to ship.

I just spent two full work days trying to set up 5 separate projects locally, making them all talk to one another, so I could spend 20 minutes verifying a change

I just reduced the amount of videos in my Watch Later playlist on YouTube from 173 to 10. I had a lot of random crap that was making that less useful. They should really have a bulk edit option for playlists. Not sure why they don't. Maybe I'll build something that can do that!

That much money financing games by actual game developers would have financed 150+ of the highest budget AAA games, and the several orders of magnitude more jobs to produce them. Instead it was burned failing to produce advertiser-safe Second Life.
