If Winston truly believes Chlöe is responsible for his broken window then logically it follows that he must be accepting personal responsibility for every single death threat made to Benjamin Doyle and their whanau.

I would like it to be known that Comrade Brown does NOT speak for Antifa NZ (South of the Bombay Hills faction) and that his incessant and intransigent demands for plain beige decor are an affront to all engaged in The Struggle …

Honestly this whole 🧵rings true for those of us approached to set up Antifa NZ. Couldn't get a decision on what colour to paint the office without a week of endless Zoom meetings. For globalists, their localisation strategy is terrible. Would not overthrow tyranny again.

OK. It's going to be coming out soon because of the relentless investigations of Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, so I might as well admit it before the news breaks:

I am the General Counsel of Antifa.

So Bryce "man of the people" Edwards' Integrity Institute is lacking in integrity...next you'll be telling me Reality Check Radio doesn't represent actual reality!?!

Nats ACT will be very keen to see law changes that support Big Pharma and Big Tobacco, especially the latter who need more growth areas beyond pouches and vapes. Lab-Green-TPM really need a joined up plan that serves community not business.

There was I thinking that headline suggested a policy decision or an actual economic plan. Silly me. Just the RBNZ cut we all knew was coming that will hardly be felt for another year or more.

What makes biz go delusional about the economy? Oh yeah, their party in power.
How great is the gap between reality + generally agreed right-wing public policy? Dead wrong about public finances + society, no matter how good they are at running own businesses? Via @bernardchickey.bsky.social

And dont even get me started on the unhinged level of abuse that Bejamin Doyle from the Greens faced - and that NZF and Winston were complicit in. Where was the public outcry by NACT then?

I happened to be living in Thatcher's Britain when young adults lost benefits on basis "their parents should be responsible". Youth homelessness was immediately visible along with myriad associated problems. Failed experiment to be tested again in AoNZ

Unemployment has increased by 50,000 since he’s been Prime Minister. That’s 50,000 families affected.

Luxon is just giving up his responsibility as Prime Minister for his citizens - to look tough against people who are trying their best.

Where are the jobs?

There are at least 3x the number of people in those three buses than in the cars you can see on the motorway this morning.

This is why I fight for more public transport, more dedicated bus lanes, trains, ferries and hopefully one day light rail, even to the shore! It’s more efficient for everyone.

Since the election, there are 37,243 fewer 15-19 year olds in filled jobs. The jobs market for young people is as bad - if not worse - than the GFC. So adding 6% to the cost of tuition fees and halving apprenticeship boost support makes life even harder. Brilliant work National.

The thing about applying income limits is that if your parents are wage slaves who earn just a little too much you won't qualify, but your friends whose parents have income from sources where they can limit their personal income will. As with ALL means testing it is inequitable.

This is a policy with no basis in any analysis. It's designed to look tough. It actually makes them look thoughtless and out of touch. It's arbitrary, mean, and simply designed to disguise the fact that the government is failing young people. Is this what being back on track feels like?

I don’t get how the govt can oblige one or two adult citizens to financially support another independent adult citizen. I’ve immediately thought of a bunch of unintended consequences for both sets. Policy as dumb & unworkable as it is mean. Grrr #nzpol
