I've said this elsewhere, but I was completely horrified when I learned that the US government has never kept track of the number of people it's detained/deported who turn out to be citizens.
There are not two kinds of citizens, 'naturalized' and 'born' or 'heritage' or whatever bigoted nonsense they have.
There is one kind of citizen: citizen.
