Have they tried looking in her family’s trust fund?

Or the Caribbean where her £60m yacht is parked?

Are they at least throwing her out the Lords?

In fact, is she seeing any kind of punishment?

Oh, right.

Good job she didn't owe any extra universal credit or child tax credits, she'd be right in the shit.

This woman and her husband should be in jail. It breaks everyone’s faith in our justice system when someone so obviously guilty suffers no consequences for fraud.
Michelle Mone-linked PPE Medpro wound up after order to repay £148m for faulty goods.

Company has £600,000 assets. Govt is unsecured creditor, won't recover anything.

Hard to trace money in offshore bank accounts.

Govt could sue directors for fraud, will take years, what will it recover?

Cutting the number of lobby briefings in half is one thing.

Saying they will simply cancel the briefings altogether on some days, in exchange for 'press conferences' where they choose which news organisations they can exclude questions from is quite another.

Matt’s journey from someone who sat on a government task force on tackling Islamophobia in the 2010s to this is actually not surprising given his absolute lack of moral compass.
Matthew Goodwin objects to prosecuting this: ‘I think it’s time for the British to gang together, hit the streets and start the slaughter. Violence and murder is the only way now. Start off burning every migrant hotel then head off to MPs’ houses and Parliament, we need to take over by FORCE.’

OMFG they're so clueless
Keir Starmer’s No10 is cancelling afternoon briefings for journalists and instead replacing them with occasional press conferences.

At those, it will be limited hand picked questions

A third of 16-18 year olds girls say in surveys that they experienced unwanted sexual touching at school. There are several hundred rapes reported in schools every year.
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

It's hard to find the words for how disgusting this is. It completely silences girls' experiences of male violence. It fails to recognise the importance of education for prevention. It ignores the drivers of men's violence. And it's racist.

Oh and for good measure, which party cut police numbers?

Yuk
No10 has sneaked out, at 4.50pm on the last day before Christmas, that they are cancelling the daily afternoon lobby briefing for journalists.
And they'll sometimes be cancelling the morning one too, to in favour of a televised press conference, to which "content creators" will be invited.

Kemi Badenoch said they should be "welcomed" as a symbol of "unity"

Now the campaign has pivoted to racially abusing migrants and intimidating charity workers on the beaches of France

Goodwin (like similar voices) is being totally dishonest about this. Despite the equal dishonesty of its headline, the Mail story shows these weren't "anti-immigration tweets", they were calls for "slaughter" and mass violence against MPs. It's incredible that this is being openly condoned.
