I worried when I gave my book the title “Laboratories of Autocracy,” that people would think I was overstating it.

We need to stop saying that our state's have a Democracy. We need to say that state's like Ohio, Missouri, Texas, and Florida are under autocracy rule.
“One analysis found that under those rules, 5% of Missouri voters ( in a single district) could defeat a measure that 95% of Missouri wanted to happen.”
Missouri has one of the worst Laboratories of Autocracy in America

Reports suggest that FIFA is contemplating relocating the 2026 World Cup from the U.S. to Canada, owing to stringent U.S. visa restrictions impacting up to 43 countries, including teams that have qualified, such as Iran. Canada is seen as a stable and neutral alternative host.
