To Prez, this remains one of best community notes of all time. To prove we can’t be beaten this idiot tweets a picture of 5 of our warships, 4 of which had been sunk. The remaining is probably now out of action.

I am surrounded by idiocy

WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

“Incrementalism in military aid disrupted Ukraine’s battlefield momentum and provided time for Russian forces to adapt; it gave the Kremlin time to surge Russia’s defense industrial base…reduced domestic pressures on Putin…masked Russia’s weaknesses, and undermined America’s policies.”
As ISW’s Nataliya Bugayova writes, Putin counts on offsets — using operations and partnerships in one region to offset the limits of Russia’s capability in another. (1/7)

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.

Yeah, we know he's trying to sell Ukraine to Russia, we've known that the entire time
Q: Have you heard this audio that Bloomberg has of Witkoff coaching the Russians on how to appeal to you?

TRUMP: That's a standard thing. He's gotta sell this to Ukraine, he's gonna sell Ukraine to Russia. That's what a dealmaker does. I haven't heard it but I heard it was standard negotiation.

I just dipped a toe in the cesspit that used to be Twitter, and I think the surest indication that the “28 points” were translated from Russian is the number of Russian mouthpiece accounts busy shouting, unprompted, that that is absolutely not the case and they were drafted in the White House.
There is plenty in the 28-point list of US/Russian surrender demands for Ukraine that is nonsensical, unenforceable, or so vague as to be meaningless. My favourite might be

“9. European fighter jets will be stationed in Poland.”

It could have been written for maximum vagueness to wrangle over -
