Happy to hear this billboard is still up in Vancouver, was a pleasure to work with @visionzerovancouver.ca.
side of a building with a billboard that says smoking tables next to non-smoking tables used to be normal too and picture of child biking beside a truck on painted bike lane

Can you imagine how quickly Labour would change their stance on FPTP if the Greens were polling like Reform are lol

More water bills rises announced today, on top of those already planned.

Privatisation without competition, arguably the worst of both worlds

My Dad used to cycle to work every day. When he was in his 50s, someone pulled out of a side road without looking, ran him down, and hospitalised him. He bought a car, never cycled again, and eventually died after years of awful obesity related health issues.

Pretty disappointing attitude from the White Hotel here www.theguardian.com/music/2025/o... Their comment seems to rely on the myth that charitable donations are more efficiently redistributed than state funding when the complete opposite is the case (by degrees of magnitude).
There’s a £1 idea that could save small music venues. Is Live Nation holding it back?
Artists including Coldplay and Katy Perry have got behind a plan to fund small venues from big gigs – but owners say that without Live Nation on board, it could fail

Every single person in Reform is simultaneously the worst person you’ve ever met. Probably realised you actually have to do work rather than just blame migrants and science for everything

Reform UK’s Councillor Rowland O’Connor, St. Columb Major, has resigned from the party.

A conspiracy theorist who claimed 17m people have died from the COVID vaccine, among many other claims.

Update on Craig Holmes, candidate in the Skelton East by-election.

Seems Reform UK candidates don’t see what’s wrong with urinating on random peoples’ property.

“The bus driver told me to do it” isn’t really the level of decision making you want in a councillor.

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

When someone flees dictatorship in the middle east we say "why don't they stay and fight?" Yanks regretting electing an obvious fascist, we welcome with open arms.
