I am cynical by default. I have a base-state brain chemistry that continuously tries to unalive me. I am predisposed toward despair. But I have also lived through dark times before and they do get better. Not on their own, we have to fight for it, but they do get better. We will overcome.

Reposting this just to say that the grind mindset is actively detrimental to the creative process. I wish more shows and productions embraced a slower pace. I’m co GMing my first VTM chronicle and we had like 6-8 months of preproduction before starting recording.

I used to be a completionist. If I started reading/watching a series, especially one that was already finished, I had to read the whole thing, even if the quality started to slip. But now I'm old enough to just drop things when they suck, bore me, or the creator is a POS. I highly recommend it.
