If you've been around a while, you might remember that Verizon used to be completely obnoxious when it came to forcing you to use their phones and their shitty apps. At one point, Verizon wouldn't even let you use a competing GPS mapping app, locking you to Verizon's substandard VCAST apps. The company also adored locking you into long-term contracts and expensive phone payment plans, making it expensive, annoying, or impossible to switch carriers.

She only first weighed in on Thursday, and the show incorporated her suggestions.

The Olivia Nuzzi story and the Bari Weiss at CBS story are the same story, which is that the upper echelons of legacy media are absolutely rife with people who worship power and don't feel burdened by any sense of responsibility to their profession or the public.

There were no cervical cancer cases diagnosed in women aged <25 years in 2021 – the first time that this has occurred in data going back to 1982. This remarkable achievement is almost certainly due to the impact of HPV vaccination. Lower rates are expected, as most prevalent disease was detected and treated in the first round (age-standardised rate per 1,000 women screened was 7.5 in 2024, compared to 9.6 in 2019, the corresponding year in the first round of HPV screening) (indicator 3).

I just came out of the briefing with Sec. Rubio and Sec. Hegseth on the military strikes in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. Here's what I learned.

Bottom line: there is no legal or national security justification for what they're doing. Not even close.
