Maybe this is very untrue, but it feels like the days of “commie” being an effective scare tactic insult to get people mobilized against a candidate in America are waning. I don’t know that it means as much to an American who is not over 70 years old anymore!

Democratic party leadership has been on autopilot for ten years, they weren't losing to fascism, fascism isn't popular enough for them to lose to fascism, they were allowing it to fill the void where their leadership should have been. What really gets me about all of this is how performative it all is. I guarantee you the majority of people do not even know who Charlie Kirk is. He was not a celebrity, he was not a politician, he was not even a newscaster. He was, for all intents and purposes, some guy on the internet.

I spent 45 minutes with silksong and these are my first impressions: is this real? Events appear to transpire beyond some sort of barrier or screen I cannot influence aside from pressing buttons on my "side" of the dividing medium, but if these bugs are really doing all that it should be on the news
