I was soooo hoping that the person doing the redacting would be pdf illiterate enough that this would happen. Small mercies.
So apparently there are many Epstein files on the DOJ website where you can highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it onto another document to read the redactions

Dragging out my old (noisy) grinder so I can have extra coffee dialled in. Converted to stepless then added a bunch of 3d-printed parts. My son was pleased to show off his skills modifying the thingify chute design for less mess.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

my great-grandparents arrived in the UK in the 1890s with nothing.
they sold pickles from the front room window, took in laundry, worked as tailors.
their children were nurses, teachers, salesmen.
their grandchildren were professors, designers, opticians, doctors, magistrates, entrepreneurs.
This is so disgusting.

Love how the response to "social media is dangerous, toxic and damaging" is "ban children" and not "hold platforms accountable".

I love how every time there are replacement buses it's as if @ptv-official.bsky.social are running them for the first time ever, even if they have pre-planned it.

No signs, no announcements.

The cost-of-living crisis is getting worse. Inflation is up 3.8%, driven by a 37% increase in electricity prices and 11% increase in childcare — all in one year. www.greenleft.org.au/2025/1444/an...
Now is the time to talk about nationalising essential services
Private generators regularly game the national electricity market to drive up wholesale prices, writes Max Chandler-Mather, and it’s time for a rethink on essential services like energy and childcare.

Santos has notched up its 10th consecutive year paying ZERO tax in Australia. I’m tempted to change my name to Santos Limited by deed poll, and dare the ATO to come after me. At $200 bucks, it could be the most sensible investment open to me, and I get to trash my backyard into the bargain. #auspol
