Watching Wake Up Dead Man now instead. Five minutes in and it’s up there with Conclave with the few priest media that actually writes them like normal people so two thumbs up

Finally my overall favorite movie of January 2025 was Conclave. I enjoy a movie that handles religion and humanity well. This did that. 7/7

Political thrillers aren't a genre I usually seek out, but the reaction to Conclave got me to check it out, and I adored it. The pettiness and dry comedy aspects had me watching the screen intently. I loved it enough, but its ending bumped it up to one of the year's best.
