This was the legendary Vidiots in Santa Monica so maybe it was better than your typical video store experience. But even in Hollywood Video or Blockbuster just going in and wandering around was a special experience that I enjoy looking back on. Sure it had limitations but everything does.

I'm pretty sure the reason Vidiot Games all seem so stupid to me, has always been the 38 yrs I spent in Machine Shops, making Aerospace and Submarine hardware on big ass CNC Lathes and Mills. starting in the mid-70s. morphing from Manual machines to Computer Control.

It's a tragedy that the Ziegfeld shut down before i could go visit. :(
But if vidiots and the egyptian can reopen better than ever, and if Regal LA live can build a new IMAX 70mm screen in time for the odyssey (👀) I think NYC can turn things around too.
