#hantaviruses
Hantaviruses are responsible for thousands of infections globally. This study assesses the effectiveness of commonly used disinfectants in inactivating #AndesVirus and evaluates the virus's stabilty to support evidence-based hygiene strategies

Some unexpected viruses appeared at very low levels, like Omsk hemorrhagic fever virus, Banna virus, and hantaviruses.

These may reflect trace environmental DNA or distant viral relatives, not active infections.

The absence of rabies is a relief for us regarding our kitties, since they were the ones directly contacting the mouse

but the inability to tell if hantaviruses might be a factor is a bit worrying for my fiancee and I, so we're going to look at respirators and gloves for cleaning up after it

Hantaviruses are a group of viruses that spread to humans through exposure to rodents.

People typically develop hantavirus infection from exposure to the infected urine, saliva, or droppings of rodents, usually rats and mice.
