My sentimental favorite: BABY BOOM. Incredibly of its time but in part a nice grown-up romcom.

I also like that she mentioned FATHER OF THE BRIDE. Some of it is very cringey, but, like I suspect a lot of people did, I made sparkly wedding sneakers for my sister because of that movie.

Diane Keaton’s 1987 directorial debut, the documentary HEAVEN, is streaming on Tubi.

It’s a weirdly moving film, that yeah, sure, takes some cheap shots at evangelicals, but it does so just by letting them talk.

Including some deeply homophobic weirdos who seemed like fringe lunatics, back then.

I really recommend browsing a reddit called "Is this AI?" for this purpose. people post questionable images and commenters weigh in on their validity, but are required to provide specifics as to their reasoning. once you start seeing the signs, it gets easier and easier over time
