My small hometown has a group fundraising for phone cards for ICE detainees at the local jail. It would be awesome if we could surprise them with a bomb of support. Please give what you can and/or RT this post. givebutter.com/AbideSteGen

This is happening! An NH friend of mine lives just across the river from Maine and works over there sometimes. He said the locals are already picking out ICE agents at restaurants and bars, on the streets and at stores to berate them and run them off. Mariners will just say people are "from away"
Hey, let’s go to Maine in the dead of winter, a time of year that certainly won’t make us more recognizable to a populace that has the ability to spot an out-of-stater from 500 yards away.

John Randle knows the algo.
Pro Football Hall of Famer John Randle posted a statement about ICE as text overlays on various portraits of himself and I kind of love it

It's a moo point. It's like a cow's opinion. It doesn't matter.
Now I want to know which CNN reporter or producer doesn't know the word "sycophant."

Finally someone is raising the 2nd amendment. She is now basically going against the FBI and Kash Patel's comments about it being illegal to bring a gun to a protest. Trump must be furious. I wonder what did it for him.

The thing is, what has she said that's any different than Trump?
this might be on the verge of the cusp of becoming a thing

What made you think you were smarter than most of the other Dem congressmen, Tom?
Tom Suozzi, one of the 7 House Dems who voted for the DHS bill: "I failed to view the DHS funding vote as a referendum on the illegal and immoral conduct of ICE in Minneapolis... I have long been critical of ICE’s unlawful behavior and I must do a better job demonstrating that."

I'm old enough to remember Claire McCaskill doing a series of town halls in support of the ACA. At each one people asked why they didn't do Medicare for All. At no point was the ACA considered "universal healthcare."
Because we're all trapped in the event horizon of the 2016 primary we have to pretend that "universal healthcare", something that every Democratic administration has worked to expand since Truman, is something that "liberalism" has fought against, instead of a bog-standard part of the platform.

Don’t even leave the key. We’ll have your mess cleaned by tomorrow.
Comer on Fox right now urging Trump to pull ICE out of Minneapolis to *punish* Minnesotans — will prove to the state how good it was to have ICE there! This is really some 5-D chess

Watched THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE and it was interesting in that it didn't dwell on any sympathetic aspects of the story, but didn't flinch when showing trauma, especially suffered by women. Saw parallels to today that I didn't think it was trying to make, but many in our world are so plainly evil.
