I've decided not to worry about it being off-putting.

Hi Sally. When Weiss published a supposed expose on the death of George Floyd, a veteran criminal justice reporter showed in deep detail that the piece was not just wrong but filled with falsehoods and misrepresentations. Weiss did not retract the piece. What do you think of that?

If they do conflate w furries, I think they'll start launching insults at the protesters based on their opinions that furries are, idk, porn-addled sex pests, or whatever. "That frog protestor is forcing ICE to participate in their kink" or whatever.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.

There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.

What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.

It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.

My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.

On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

I know people who work at FedEx in the customs brokerage department. They are NOT managing. When the packages get to be too much, they RTS them. All major US shipping ports are overloaded. No one is managing.

ICE has a history of preying on the most vulnerable and abusing people in their custody.

Many have died preventable deaths.

Two disabled people are currently being detained and denied all reasonable accommodations.

It’s eugenics. It’s cruelty for cruelty’s sake.

Disabled People are Being Mistreated in ICE Detention Facilities

Why is no one talking about it? Where's the media? Where's the public outcry? Another example of the pervasive nature of ableism and how society views disabled people as expendable.

Best i can think of is role reversal. Like when two switches play and power passes fluidly, changing hands throughout the scene. Or when you roleplay something like "authority figure lectures subordinate, and subordinate takes revenge". Ofc, you're describing something softer, you know what I mean.
