I was going to say that if Western cultures didn't want to get replaced by demographics who make tasty street food they should invent better street food, except fajitas are, in fact, a Western street food (they're Tex Mex) so I don't even know what this raw egg person is going on about.

Someone on Twitter posted a photo of themselves doing a happy dance as they receive a hot plate of fajitas. Then "Raw Egg Nationalist" on Twitter retweets them, writing: It's incredible that these people exist, but they really do. These are the people who justify the demographic replacement of Western countries in terms of the variety of street food and how many different kinds of fried-meat-and-vegetables in flatbread they can buy.

TIL: In Illinois, police video is ordinarily EXEMPT from disclosure unless it's been flagged for review based on a shooting, use-of-force report, arrest, or complaint.

Just got this text from my daughter’s school.

On the one hand, his for her school.

On the other, fuck ICE.

LANETHS-Safety is number one priority; we were notified there may be ICE activity in the area. If students would like to remain in the building to wait for safe ride or bus, they are welcome.

Adults will be near the bus stops in case there is a need for support.

I installed 2 wifi printers last month. Neither one detected itself. Both required me to search for and separately download scanner drivers since that somehow wasn't included in the install process.

Friends should not have to ask me for help with this in the year 2025.

Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.
