Please tip Ethan a few bucks via his linked ko-fi if you can. He's not asking for this but a living dinosaur just nomped his drawing hand so a coffee or two might help.
She let me hold her and then ten seconds later she bit the absolute shit out of my hand

the way Trump and his administration keep going on livestreams and tv to laugh about this, I can’t really compare it to anything political that comes to mind, only thing that comes to mind rn is a serial killer who writes letter taunting family of their victim.
Trump’s victims are now washing up in Trinidad:
“The U.S. campaign targeting what it says is drug trafficking from Venezuela has exposed Trinidad to the fallout: unidentified bodies with burn marks and missing limbs showing up in its territory.“

“throw everything at the wall and see what sticks and then push that” has been an enormously successful political strategy for Trump and I don’t understand why many Dems consider it anathema
in general i believe that high ranking democrats should not be trying to guess which stories will break through at all
My wife’s (in some cases three-time) trump voting relatives have started mentioning the ballroom to me, negatively; anecdata but I’d like to see some high quality polling. I think it’s a mistake by certain elite elected Dems to think this story isn’t breaking thru

i really resent the continued assertion that there’s so much anger on both sides, as if the causes of the anger are equally legitimate. we’re angry because masked maniacs are violently snatching our family and neighbors off the street, and they’re angry because we’re calling them out for it.

💯

If I was scared, I’d be a hermit.

I go to work, I visit friends and family, I live my life!

But I do it in a mask b/c it’d suck if a routine trip to buy groceries gave me a disease that ruined my life, or if I were the ruin of someone else’s…and also to make an anti-eugenics political statement
Tired of people seeing me in a mask and assuming I'm 'scared'.

COVID probably won't kill you...this time. But it's gonna do you cumulative harm, every time. It's gonna fuck you up, and then your family and your friends you passed it on to.

Protecting your community from scary shit is just smart.
(and i think it is a demand that stems from fear more than a rational assessment of the threat environment)

I’m very happy, and proud of my fellow Americans, at how many (though not enough) are reacting to ICE abuses. I’m also scared for them, because I think this escalates to more government (and government-supporter) violence, to a tipping point.
It's hard to overstate how fully engaged Chicago and the surrounding suburbs are in this ICE madness. There are neighborhood watch alerts, spontaneous crowds gathering outside schools at pick up & drop off plus madly blowing whistles and honking car horns, this city is fighting back and hard.

Remember: Vance knows this. Because he could just ASK HIS FUCKING IN-LAWS. But he doesn’t think they’re people.
In the aftermath of 9/11 it was dangerous to be brown in public. People were assaulted, shot and even killed for being or looking like Muslims/Arabs in the eyes of chuds around the country. This included Sikhs as in the murder of Balbir Singh Sodhi.

Ah, locals mention the federal court order here, which also requires agents to wear some identification.

Also, quite an image in here: masked, fully-geared-out DHS agents getting screamed at in a residential neighborhood by some dude who is barefoot and in pajama pants.
