As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

Signed up for employer health insurance two days ago and I keep thinking now's a good time to go to the eye doctor for the first time in like three years but I guess now I have to find one that's "in-network"

also trad authors are judged very very closely by their ability to make sales so stealing from your fav trad author is actively impeding their ability to keep creating new books in a (vaguely, because the advance system is not great for like living off of) economically sustainable way
