I started commuting by bike in law school and quickly found it was great way to rewire my brain from experiencing life as going in a box (car) to other boxes (offices, classrooms, stores, apartments, etc…).

today’s affirmation: I am within the acceptable range of deviation. I am a perfectly roasted quail. if I was a car the mechanics would find nothing weird or rodent related in my air filter. I am upright. There are no stones or excess debris in my shoes. I still have all my bones.

A shining example of our failed punditry is how Yglesias is furious an innocent man was not kidnapped and tortured to death for the singular reason of it proving him wrong about something and not a single one of his colleagues is calling him out on this overt act of sociopathy
Yglesias referring to Senator Van Hollen as a "safe seat clout-chaser" is so despicable. VH took a stand to prevent Abrego García - an innocent man - from being disappeared into CECOT for life.
matt & co’s theory of how public opinion on immigration would respond to new information was simply empirically wrong.
