This article talks about Labour deciding which voter bases to “target” which perfectly encapsulates why Labour always makes me feel like a box to tick as a rainbow voter.

“Diversity is having a seat at the table, inclusion is having a voice, and belonging is having that voice heard.” - Liz Fosslien
Labour wants its 2020 mojo back – can it convince voters it still has the recipe?
Labour's party-heavy weekend conference revealed big dreams, and big gaps in its voter base.

I am not confident

So that is why Hipkins did not use his speech to denounce Winston and his Anti Trans Policies.
As predicted although not Hipkins doing so, Labour is seeking out or rather cuddling Winston for 2026 while bashing the Greens and TPM

The median wage has drawn significantly closer to the minimum, so how can we boost incomes?.

The thing that really stuck out to me about Labour's conference, is how little they seem to want to campaign on the issues that most of us care about - namely cost of living.

These things would help:
$0 Prescriptions
Subsidised public transport
Fair pay agreements
Progressive tax structure (Aus)

Good to see UN at minute 21 with firm questions on NZ’s human rights record and failure to implement key RCOI recommendations from the Christchurch attacks. Goldsmith’s response, starting after minute 38, was difficult to watch, stretched reasoning, and failed to address the core concerns. #painful
Paul Goldsmith (44min) says NZ didn't ban #HateSpeech cos of #FreeSpeech concerns. It banned display of Gang Patches tho Freedom of Expression is in NZ Bill of Rights Act cos freedom from intimidation.

They're dirty baaaahstaaards! Snap election or revolution. Get them the fuck out now.
As Craig Renney revealed to a shocked Dr Gary Payinda, Te Whatu Ora underspent its wages budget by $500m which has been signed off by Willis & returned to general coffers. Let that sink in. The money was there, but they deliberately underspent. On orders?

Wasn't the current deputy prime minister Seymour made famous on Snapchat with teen school girls? Yes. Yes, he was. Creepy dodgy dog.
It's now in the court record that powerful people use Snapchat to groom minors, solicit objectionable images & rape children

So do we get to revisit certain MPs playing the "i'm so innocent, Snapchat is just a social app" line? Because that discourse directly led here

I'm mainly wondering though, if this has a) fundamentally undermined the basis of MMP by rendering coalition agreements kinda worthless, or b) been a useful example of why seriously batshit minor parties shouldn't overplay their hand even with a weakass major
