I saw Paul at the UC on Monday, and while his performance was incredible and the experience was incomparable, the video projections were, indeed, almost entirely AI slop :(
Jesus Christ, the "remastered" Beatles Anthology documentary they re-released is filled with AI slop. Look at John and Paul's faces, and the "T" on Beatles.

I think the best case for this is that "the South" no longer has a distinct political culture, with urban regions of the South being largely similar to suburb-heavy northern metros and rural areas of the North largely being Dixiefied

This is so stupid. I'm 43 years old. When I was 18 in 1999, I occasionally used the f-slur and often called stuff "gay" when I meant stupid. Nobody needed to "welcome me in," I just needed to learn and listen and grow up and fix my shit. The math only "doesn't math" if men don't fix their shit.
In order to move men, we have to welcome folks who have done things in the past we abhor. We have to allow folks to redeem themselves.
