Every time I go to treatment the hospital bills almost $300,000. I go almost weekly. No way this would work for me.

I have made sure to ALWAYS get short and long term disability from every job because I promise you'd rather have it and not need it.

While we're at it, if your job offers short term disability GET IT. It's normally a only few bucks and no one ever thinks they'll need it BUT at 31yrs old newly separated with 2 small kids I got step throat, bronchitis, the flu, and laryngitis ALL AT ONCE. I was out of work for 4 months.It saved me.

I got cancer in my early 30s. Even with a good insurance plan it ended up draining ALL of my savings because so much of the specialty care I ended up needing wasn’t (or was barely cover). This type of plan would have bankrupted me. It’s a horrible idea…you never know when disaster may hit.
