I had long covid from August 2022-May 2024. A total of 21 months. I had given up on ever feeling whole again.

The only reason I can think of for ICE wanting to open a new “detention” facility on the Oregon Coast is that it’s a remote area that isn’t terribly accessible, so it will be easier to shell game and otherwise abuse detainees.

one thing that people on this site are very bad at understanding is that it’s actually default wrong to make generalized negative remarks about a group or type of people, it’s *worse* when there’s a historical marginalization or power dynamic but it’s actually default bad to insult groups of ppl
